Kellie and I visited Cedar Breaks National Monument last week. While on I hike there we saw thousands of trees that had been killed by an infestation of beetles a number of years ago. In this image you can see the patterns the beetles made as they burrowed into [...] As you can see here, we woke up this morning to a late spring snow storm. We had about an inch of snow on our deck by the time I left for work. The trees and shrubs were perhaps the most surprised. With all their nice big blossoms and new leaves, the snow collected easily on [...] Another in my set from Thanksgiving Point. I like the three dimensional feel of [...] Behold, my friends, the spring is come; the earth has gladly received the embraces of the sun, and we shall soon see the results of their love! Tulips look great when lit from behind. The petals and leaves take on a translucent quality I really enjoy. This setup tends to work better as the [...] |
