I had the pleasure yesterday of taking engagement photos of my neighbor’s daughter, Brittnie Huefner and her fiancé Dane Larsen. This was my first try at this sort of photo session so I wasn’t sure what to expect but we had a lot of fun and things turned out well. We drove up to Farmington to Brittnie’s aunt’s home. Brittnie’s mom, Alishia and Brittnie’s two sisters came along for the fun, as did my wife Kellie. Brittnie’s aunt has a fun old car we used as a prop for a number of photos. We also spent time in old Farmington where there are a lot of great old buildings and rock garden walls. It was a beautiful day which was nice because it snowed last night. I discovered engagement photography is a lot of work. It makes me respect the photographers who do this all the time. For me, this was a fun opportunity to push the shutter button on a nice Saturday morning.
