Our family just returned from a vacation to California which included a stay at Yosemite National Park. It was the first time any of us had been there and it was as beautiful as everyone describes. The runoff was at a peak so the waterfalls and rivers were running high and fast. The weather was great. The only annoyance was the amount of pollen in the air. At times it was literally like walking through a water mister, only the mist was pollen.
Being my first trip to Yosemite, I ended up taking a lot of postcard-looking photos like this one of Half Dome. But the park is so beautiful that I just captured images of whatever interested me the most, and there were a lot of interesting subjects.
