Say hello to the Setterbergs: Carlos, Sylvia, Katie, and Spencer. Sylvia is Kellie’s sister. We met up at the State Capitol on New Year’s Eve to take family photos. The Capitol is a great place for photos. You have to fill out a Photography Application Form and get a reservation. It costs $10, but that way you basically have the whole place to yourself for an hour (at least as far as taking portraits goes.)
There was another group doing portraits for a large family gathering just before we arrived. Kellie noted that to be a photographer apparently you have to have a black silk shirt and a stuffed animal to hang off your tripod. I don’t have either, but we had a fun time anyway.
