Courtney had her 13th birthday party over the weekend. Can you say giggle-fest? A fun group of girls though. They had a great time telling scary stories, making up skits, and talking about boys. I’m feeling old. 
The fault-ridden birthday cake is a funny story. Kellie was trying to bake the cake at the same time as baking a batch of brownies. The cake pans got tilted one way in the oven resulting in two lop-sided cake rounds. She tried to compensate by stacking one upside-down on top of the other, but the net result looked strikingly like a landslide. By that time it was too late to start over so they frosted the cake and went on their way. The party guests thought it was hilarious.
