Hello, who are you?
I’ve often been told that when photographing children it is important to focus on the eyes. I love this photo because of the connection Courtney and Alaura are making through eye contact. This is the first time Alaura has ever seen Courtney, and I wonder what sort of bond may be forming here that will manifest itself sometime in the future.
Courtney tells me she doesn’t like how her hair looks dark and how it covers her face. I see what she means. I still like the unspoken communication expressed in Alaura’s eyes.
